My Favorite Disney Movie?

Last night was a perfect example of why I love gaming as much as I do. As soon as I got home from work, I logged into Final Fantasy XIV because I knew the servers were going down for maintenance in two and a half hours. I still needed to work at capping my red gatherer’s scrips, after all. I putzed around a bit, sending my retainers on ventures and all that jazz, when someone typed into chat, “Anyone interested in a Midas learning party?” YES. I still haven’t cleared all four floors and I had only ever cleared the first three once. So the opportunity to play with a bunch of other people who were still learning sounded PERFECT. I was not disappointed. I joined as Paladin and my husband as Scholar. We got through the first three floors before the server went down. We communicated really well over voice, so I’m hoping to play with these folks again so I can learn/clear the fourth floor.

Once the server went down, I took a shower, ate dinner, and started streaming Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix. As I played, I explained that I loved Disney A LOT, so one of my viewers asked me what my favorite Disney of all time is. How can I pick just one? We chatted about different movies, their strengths and weaknesses, but even after all that, I still can’t decide! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Disney movie that I straight up didn’t like at all. Admittedly, I haven’t watched a lot of the direct-to-video iterations of popular series or a lot of the live action movies from before the 1970’s, but when it comes to full feature length films, both live action and animated, Disney has never disappointed me.

After skimming through this list of every Disney movie ever, I can’t even narrow it down to five! HELP! LOL I am also reminded that there are several movies that I STILL haven’t watched and really need to. (Big Hero 6, I’m looking at you!) All this talk about Disney movies makes me want to watch one. But which one? I remember seeing a post on one of the Disney websites about excuses to watch Disney movies. Basically, EVERYTHING is a reason to watch Disney movies. I completely agree. That’s it. I’ve decided. I’m going to watch a Disney movie sometime this week.

Still trying to decide if I can pick just one favorite Disney movie and I’m failing miserably, but here are a bunch that come to mind: Beauty and the Beast, Fantasia, Mulan, Hercules, Snow White, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Escape to Witch Mountain, Return to Witch Mountain, Mary Poppins, The Black Cauldron, The Sword in the Stone, Ratatouille, Tron…

Today in Game News:

Wasteland Workshop, the next DLC for Fallout 4 is arriving on April 12th. Looks like Pokemon. 😀

The next Playstation 4 update is happening tomorrow and it includes features like appearing offline, friend notifications, and remote play. Cooooool…

Not much else going on. Lots of people are talking about the Vive today. If you’re interested in reading reviews on that, just Google it. When I can afford it, I’ll be picking up all the VR stuff. For now, I’m just focusing on the stuff that I already have. Sort of. LOL

My birthday is this month, so that means I’ll be spoiling myself, as always. Dark Souls III and Bravely Second: End Layer are my current gifts to myself.

Tonight on Twitch:

Last night was reset for Final Fantasy XIV, so I’ll be starting on my weekly tomestone grind while working on gathering red scrips. (Crafting and Gathering stuff resets on Wednesday nights, while Adventuring stuff resets on Monday nights.) Once I do some daily FFXIV stuff, I’ll be switching to Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix and working on that. Pretty sure it will make me obsess more about Disney movies. ❤ Come by and say hi!
